SiteIQ workflow

The standard workflow keeps the user in control of every calculation.

1. Sign in. Authenticate with the approved ArcGIS organization account.
2. Define the site. Search for and select a parcel, or draw an AOI.
3. Name the project. A project name is required before saving.
4. Set constraints. Enable applicable layers and set buffer or slope parameters.
5. Run constraints. SiteIQ intersects enabled constraints with the selected AOI.
6. Generate the buildable result. The application calculates remaining buildable area, hex classifications, proximity evidence, and score factors.
7. Review evidence. Inspect site facts, constraint breakdown, infrastructure proximity, and data-availability messages.
8. Save the AOI/project. Preserve the geometry and current analysis state.
9. Optionally calculate cut/fill. In 3D, draw a grading area, calculate volume, and save the result to the completed buildable run.
10. Generate insights and report. Create the AI summary after calculations are complete, generate the guided due-diligence checklist, then review or export the report.
11. Compare saved sites. Use Portfolio to filter and rank saved projects when the assigned plan permits.

Important ordering

Parcel discovery can use acreage and location filters before selection. Criteria that require site geometry—such as flood overlap, buildability, and precise infrastructure distance—are evaluated only after a parcel becomes the AOI and the analysis runs.

Running a new analysis replaces the previous generated analysis for the current project. Reset analysis clears generated analysis outputs while retaining the selected parcel/AOI.
