Troubleshooting¶
If the guidance below does not resolve the issue, contact hello@geoscopanalytics.com. Include the project name, APN if applicable, approximate time of the issue, browser, and the displayed error message. Do not email access tokens, API keys, or passwords.
Parcel search returns no results¶
- Confirm the parcel source covers the requested location.
- Remove restrictive acreage filters and retry.
- Verify a custom service is a polygon Feature Service and permits queries.
- Try an APN or shorter street/city query supported by the source fields.
A Rextag layer is missing from the map¶
- Confirm the user is signed in to the approved ArcGIS organization.
- Confirm the account can open the protected service.
- Toggle the layer in Layers and zoom to the applicable geography.
- Rerun the site analysis if the evidence row still says Not calculated.
Evidence says “No data · skipped”¶
The source was handled without a usable result for the current query. This is different from Not calculated. Check geographic coverage and source access before interpreting absence.
Buildable area looks inconsistent¶
- Confirm which constraints are enabled.
- Review buffer values and maximum slope.
- Compare the exact buildable polygon with the constraint layers.
- Remember that boundary hexes are a visualization; acreage comes from the calculated geometry.
- Reset and rerun after changing settings.
Cut/fill cannot be saved¶
- Confirm the site is a saved project.
- Complete and save a Buildable Area run first.
- Switch to 3D, draw a valid cut/fill polygon, and wait for values.
- Reduce or simplify the polygon if ArcGIS reports size or perimeter errors.
- Confirm the elevation surface and 3D scene load successfully.
AI summary is unavailable¶
- Complete and save the latest analysis first.
- Confirm the account has AI access remaining.
- Retry from the saved report.
- Calculated report values remain available even if narrative generation fails.
Returning from the report creates unexpected state¶
Open the saved project from Projects and verify which project is active. Report navigation should reuse the existing project; do not select New Project unless a separate project is intended.
