Analysis model¶
SiteIQ separates the analysis into four conceptual layers.
1. Site geometry¶
The parcel polygon or drawn AOI establishes the baseline analysis geometry and gross acreage.
2. Constraint geometry¶
Enabled and available constraint layers are intersected with the AOI. Linear features can be buffered by the user-selected distance before intersection.
3. Remaining land¶
The union of all valid exclusions is removed from the AOI once. The result is the modeled buildable geometry for the scenario.
4. Evidence and interpretation¶
Available infrastructure layers are queried for intersection or proximity. The application combines calculated buildability, slope, access, and constraint evidence into screening scores, best-fit models, and reports.
