Parcel search¶
Parcel search queries one configured ArcGIS parcel source and returns real features from that source.
Search steps¶
- Open parcel search or AI Discover.
- Select the parcel source first.
- For a custom source, provide its FeatureServer or supported ArcGIS item URL.
- Enter an APN, city, street text, or natural-language request.
- Optionally set minimum and maximum acreage.
- Run the search.
- Select a result to preview it on the map.
- Choose Use selected parcel as AOI.
Acreage¶
SiteIQ calculates acreage from parcel geometry when necessary. A source-provided area field may be displayed when reliable, but geometry is the authoritative basis for analysis.
Apparently duplicated parcels¶
Some county services contain multiple records with the same or nearly identical footprint—for example, related tax or ownership records. SiteIQ identifies stacked records where possible and labels their shared-footprint count. Distinct source records are not silently deleted.
No results¶
Check that:
- The selected source covers the requested location.
- The source is queryable by the current session.
- The search text matches fields available in that service.
- Acreage filters are not too restrictive.
- A custom URL points to a Feature Service or valid ArcGIS item rather than an unrelated page.
